Skyglaze Architectural Systems were the appointed glazing sub contractor on the Griffeen mixed use retail centre, Lucan Dublin. We found the company to be totally competent in the interpretation of the Architectural intent both in terms of technical performance and aesthetic appearance. The ability of the company to produce technically literate shop and installation drawings expedited the approval and fabrication process. Good on site management in terms of quality of installation and health & safety performance considerably aided the construction phase programme resulting in successful end product for the client.

Skyglaze Architectural Systems were the appointed nominated facade sub contractor appointed for the design fabrication and installation of the structural and conventional glazing and rainscreen cladding on the Bull Ring Project. The technical capability of the company enabled a complex glazing structure to be realised. The company displayed good all round professionalism in their approach to the project. The ability to deal with complex site and construction issues benefitted the construction process and produced a lasting land mark in the area in line with the architectural intent.

John Paul Construction were the appointed Main Contractor for the construction of the Louis Fitzgerald Hotel Naas Road Dublin. John Paul Construction were pleased to have worked with Skyglaze Architectural Systems, the appointed Rain Screen facade installer. The company displayed the required professionalism for a large scale fast track construction of this nature. The technical knowledge backed up with comprehensive detailing capability aided the facade installation process. These attributes coupled with a high standard of site management and Health & Safety awareness contributed positively to the construction programme in an unfamiliar build process.

Skyglaze were appointed to install a rainscreen cladding system on both the below projects. We were initially impressed by the company’s knowledge of the system proposed, their understanding of the contractor’s requirements in terms of contract, access and program and their willingness to offer advice on the suitability of the product specified. The accuracy and efficiency Skyglaze displayed in producing shop drawings was matched on site, working tolerances for a resin based sheet product were exceptional. The Hotel façade design was about “clean lines” and minimal detailing, the success of the façade is thanks in large part to the professionalism of Skyglaze. A point also worth note and often overlooked, is the company’s post contract service. We found Skyglaze, on their own initiative were able to deal with problems quickly and effectively. We would therefore have no hesitation in working with the company in the future.
